Week 8 keene

I have learned many things over this 8th week of school while attending this computer class. One thing that I had learned that I had found especially interesting is what an ipv6 even is. Apparently, an ipv6 was based on the ipv4 internet protocol. The point of ipv6 is to identify local endpoint systems on a computer network. The ipv6 protocol also helps keep the ipv4 protocol in check by working to solve the problems that have come from an ipv4 protocol. It is interesting, though, because ipv6 was introduced in December 1995. Makes you wonder how much better the next one might be.
